Hereford FC DSA

Hereford FC, Hereford FC DSA and Hereford Local Deals are pleased to be working with Level Playing Field, a charity promoted by the FA, that aims to ensure all sporting events and stadia are fully accessible to all.

Bob Graham, founder of Hereford Local Deals a community based website and marketing company, has thrown his considerable experience and knowledge behind Tom Emmett and Hereford FC DSA to make a success of engaging with Level Playing Field. "I feel that Hereford has a long standing commitment to including everyone in all that we do for our community whether we are working or playing. Helping Hereford FC put the club at the heart of the community through our ability to put local businesses, local people and local causes together is a perfect fit of goals" Bob noted.

The Bulls continue to work hard to provide the disabled supporters at Edgar Street with the best facilities possible when visiting the stadium. Taking advice from Level Playing Field, and working with the Hereford FC Disabled Supporters Association, the club hope to make Edgar Street even more accessible.

Ruth Hopkins, General Manager and Head of Access & Development at Level Playing Field said “Level Playing Field was delighted to be invited to Edgar Street to meet with Hereford FC and the Hereford FC Disabled Supporters Association (DSA). There is so much positive work being done for disabled fans and we are pleased to be involved.

“Having a DSA will give disabled fans a voice and provide a consultation group for the club. We are very encouraged by the enthusiasm within the club to get things right and we look forward to working with everyone in the future.”

Hereford FC General Manager James Watts said “we as a club are committed to helping to provide our disabled supporters with some of the best facilities in non-league football and in some cases, better facilities than some clubs in the Football League.

“Level Playing Field have now given us some advice on areas where we can improve during the 2018/2019 season which we as a football club, with the support of the Hereford FC DSA, will work hard to achieve.”

Facilities currently on offer to disabled supporters at Edgar Street include the wheelchair/limited mobility viewing area, as well as accessible seating in A Block and D Block. Blind and partially sighted supporters can also listen to Radio Hereford FC commentary anywhere in the stadium.

Bob Graham, has agreed to be on the committee for the newly created Hereford FC DSA and has already included a fund raising initiative on his local deals marketing platform. If you want to advertise your business in Hereford and if you want to help Hereford FC DSA provide the very best facilities so that everyone can enjoy community football at Edgar Street then place an advert with Hereford Local Deals using the special Hereford FC DSA plan.
